Class Descriptions

Restorative Stretch, Roll & Mobility

Improve your muscle recovery and balance your mind and body with Restorative Stretch, Roll & Mobility.  This class will include gentle flowing movement patterns as well as a mix of stretch techniques and trigger point therapy using foam rollers and bands designed to aid in the improvement of flexibility and range of motion to help you move better.   Creating body awareness, promoting stress reduction and reducing pain associated with muscle tightness this class will leave you feeling calm, centered and relaxed.  Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit beginners and advanced members as modifications can be made to suit.

 

Basic Box Fit 

Combining Cardio Intervals and basic Boxing moves our Basis Box Fit class is sure to give you an all over workout! Expect anything from body-weight moves to your regular kettlebells, deadballs, battle ropes, skipping ropes and much more.  This class can be circuit style or on the spot with set work and rest times which change on a weekly basis so you’ll avoid the cardio boredom!   Those with injuries may find some moves in this class difficult to modify but any level of fitness is welcome and you can modify pace and intensity to suit.


Focus Strength & Conditioning

Our Focus Strength & Conditioning class can be on the spot Instructor led or in a circuit format.  Ensuring you work your entire body over a three week rotation with combos like Upper Body/Cardio and Core, Lower Body/Cardio and Core and finally Cardio Conditioning for that whole body buzz to complete the experience you can expect anything from squats, deadlifts, shoulder and arm strength work using weights, bands, skipping, high knees (and maybe a sneaky burpee or two!) plus much more.  Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit beginners, intermediate and advanced members, as modifications can be made with equipment and pace to suit.

FTC Pump   

FTC Pump is a fast paced, barbell based workout that sculpts and tones your entire body.  Using a barbell, and hand weights with lots of repetition, improve your overall strength and fitness as well as increase your body's metabolism.  Barbell Strong is a great way to squat, press, lift and curl your way to a better body with low impact moves that burn fat and help shape and tone all the major muscle groups.

 

FTC Strong 

Our FTC Strong class focuses on full body muscle conditioning with weight that will push your body to improve over time. Using heavier weights, slower pace and longer work times as well as designated rest times you can expect to feel that overall body fatigue when this one is done!  This class can be Circuit Style or on the spot and is designed to help you learn how to lift the correct weight for you as well as master your technique under the close supervision of an experienced Instructor and is the perfect introduction to weight training. FTC Strong will aid you in gaining strength and increasing your muscle percentage when combined with your regular training sessions across the week.   Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit beginners, intermediate and advanced members, as modifications can be made with equipment and pace to suit.  

 

Cardio Core 

Our Cardio Core class is the perfect combo of challenging cardio and abdominal exercises using set time intervals which can be on the spot Instructor led or in small groups and stations.   Get the ultimate workout as you build the foundation for a stronger core while increasing your cardiovascular levels at the same time!   Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit beginners, intermediate and advanced members, as modifications can be made with equipment and pace to suit.

 

Strength & Tone 

Feel stronger, increase joint stability, build muscle strength and endurance with less stress on the joints in our Strength and Tone class.   This class is low impact and can be Instructor led or Circuit style.  Combining low impact resistance and toning moves using a variety of weights, bands, dumbbells, equipment and bodyweight, this class is the perfect introduction to develop strength and tone your muscles.  Benefit from regular strength training and gain confidence with fewer injuries along the way. It’s a win for everyone!

Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit beginners, intermediate and advanced members, as modifications can be made with weights and pace to suit.


Step

Our freestyle Step classes provide an awesome cardio workout that's great for heart health & fitness.  This class is high in energy and intensity and will keep you moving for the full 45 minutes whilst burning those calories!  Using the Aerobic Step we create a choreographed routine taught to you in 4 or 5 blocks across the class.  Way more fun than a 5k run, this class offers an alternate way to get your huff and puff!    Painful knee and Ankle injuries may struggle with the height of the step and pace of this class.

 

Full Body Blast  

Our Full Body Blast class combines a mix of aerobic exercises from low to medium intensity with some high impact options to keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone.   This class can be Instructor led or circuit style where you can expect to use a variety of equipment and bodyweight incorporating cardio elements, resistance and core training for this great workout which is suitable for all fitness levels and is sure to challenge regardless of whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned gym goer. This class will leave you feeling energised and motivated ready to tackle your daily life routine!

 

Lift & Move  

Using a Tabata Timer this class can be Instructor led on the stage or circuit style.  Incorporating weights, barbells, equipment and bodyweight resistance combo moves to improve your overall strength you will be certain to get an over all body workout.  Lift & Move is a great way to squat, press, and move your way to a stronger body which will include moves that burn fat, get those cardio levels up and about and help shape and tone all the major muscle groups. Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit beginners, intermediate and advanced members, as modifications can be made with equipment and pace to suit.

 

HIIT 

Our High Intensity Interval Training class can be Instructor led or circuit style using shorter bursts of work time at a higher intensity with resistance-based moves to increase heart rate across the class.  Expect anything from kettlebells, dumbbells, deadballs, steps, bodyweight, star jumps, burpees, mountain climbers and much more with some high impact moves included.  Those with injuries (eg: bursitis or muscle tears) may find this class difficult to modify but any level of fitness is welcome, as you can modify weights and pace at your leisure.


WOD  

Your Workout Of The Day!  You can expect to see anything from body-weight moves to your regular kettlebells, deadballs, battle ropes, skipping ropes and much more.  There will be high cardio or power moves to keep that heart rate pumping for the full 45 Mins and you can expect anything from EMOM’s, AMRAP’s, set rep circuits or group work as well as on the spot with set work and rest times changing weekly to avoid that cardio boredom!  Open to all levels of fitness, this class will suit intermediate and advanced members, as modifications can be made with equipment and pace to suit.  

 

Pilates

Our Pilates classes are mat based rather than equipment based and are a great place for the beginner to start their journey. There are also plenty of moves to challenge those who have done Pilates before, and to assist them in advancing their practice with regular attendance. Can make adjustments for most injuries.

Yoga

Our Yoga class focuses on building strength, improving flexibility and helping with injuries as well as promoting mind and body connection.  By the end of the class you should feel energised,  refreshed, calm and strong!
