Class Descriptions

Aerobics 45/Combo - This class uses traditional freestyle aerobics choreography taught to you in 3 blocks, with 2 or 3 blocks of resistance work added throughout the class. More suitable for choreography beginners than the Step class but challenging enough for anyone to jump in for a weights/resistance combo.

CARDIO: Low-Med

STRENGTH: Low-Med

CHOREOGRAPHY: Med-High

INJURIES: Can make adjustments for most injuries

 

HIIT 45- Known for its incredible fat burning effect and our most popular class, the HIIT style of training is a time efficient way to burn big calories! Expect functional bodyweight moves mixed in with steps, skipping ropes and higher impact activities, set out in a circuit style of training with set work and rest times.

CARDIO: Med-High

STRENGTH: Medium

CHOREOGRAPHY: None

INJURIES: Can make adjustments for some injuries

 

PILATES 45 - Our Pilates classes are mat-based rather than equipment based and are a great place for the beginner to start their journey. There are also plenty of moves to challenge those who have done Pilates before, and to assist them in advancing their practice with regular attendance.

STRONGER 45 - If you need some more strength in your fitness routine or would love to have an instructor on hand for assistance with your technique this class is for you. Strength work is an essential part of any training regime and this class is a great way to get involved in a circuit style of weights training where you can work at your own pace through set work and rest times.

STEP 45 - Step classes provide cardio that’s great for heart health & fitness! This class uses the Aerobics Step to create a choreographed routine taught to you in 3 or 4 blocks across the class with one block of resistance work thrown in. Way more fun than a 5km run, this class offers an alternate way to get your huff and puff!

CARDIO: Med-High

STRENGTH: Low

CHOREOGRAPHY: Med-High

INJURIES: Knee and Ankle injuries will struggle with the step

 

TTB 45 - Take up the toning challenge with this traditional Tummy, Thighs & Buttocks class.

Using a short aerobics choreographed set to get you warm and the heart rate up, you'll then jump into blocks of resistance work to target the Quads, Glutes, Hamstrings & Core. The most popular class for those just beginning their fitness journey it can be made very low impact where required.

CARDIO: Med

STRENGTH: Low-Med

CHOREOGRAPHY: Low-Med

INJURIES: Knees and backs may need consideration due to squats, lunges and core work

YOGA - Our popular Yoga class has a focus on flexibility, stability and relaxation. This 1 hour class aims to de-stress you, recharge your mind and relax your body. An excellent accompaniment to your strength and cardio to prevent injury and promote supple muscles.
